02 How it works
Our dental CPD courses are built for working clinicians: live online sessions, presenters who practise what they teach, and a certificate for your records at the end. Here is what to expect.
Live webinars
Our webinars run live on Zoom in the evening, so you can learn without taking time out of the clinic. Each one is led by a specialist, academic or experienced clinician, with clear learning objectives, MCQs for reflection and take-home resources.
Clinical Educators CPD Course
For dental practitioners who supervise students or new graduates. Each module combines a one hour live online session, one hour of self-directed learning, an assessment task and resources you can keep using long after the course.
Your certificate
After a session you complete a short online CPD quiz. Pass it and your certificate is emailed to you, showing the session, the presenter, the date and your CPD hours, ready for your records if the Board ever asks.
Dentists, oral health therapists, dental hygienists and dental therapists looking for evidence-based CPD that fits their scope of practice. Our founders are both registered oral health therapists, so the whole dental team is in mind when we choose topics and presenters.
Dental assistants are welcome too. Many of our topics, from oral surgery to managing young patients in the chair, apply right across the team.

The Dental Board of Australia requires a minimum of 60 hours of CPD over each three year cycle. The current cycle runs from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2028. At least 80 per cent of your hours should be clinically or scientifically based, and every activity needs to be relevant to your scope of practice. The detail is on the Dental Board of Australia website.
The Board doesn't approve individual CPD providers. An activity counts when it is relevant to your scope of practice and you keep a record of it. Our sessions are evidence-based and clinically focused, and the certificate gives you that record.
Yes. Webinars are live on Zoom, and the Clinical Educators CPD Course is fully online, combining live sessions with self-directed learning, so you can join from anywhere in Australia.
